The Pro/MECHANICA® Structure allows design engineers to evaluate, understand, and optimise the static and dynamic structural performance of their designs in a real-world environment.  Precise representations of CAD geometry, and unique adaptive solution technology provides fast, accurate solutions automatically - solutions that help to improve product quality, while decreasing costs associated with extended development times and ineffectual prototypes. Structure also offers specialised analyses that automatically create fully associative FEA meshes for products like NASTRAN® and end-to-end interoperability with other PTC products and data management tools, including other CAD data.

Integrated Mode Licence

By operating directly on the Pro/ENGINEER® model, Pro/MECHANICA eliminates data transfer issues while delivering the power of parametric optimisation. Multi-disciplinary simulation capabilities additionally enable simultaneous structural, thermal, and motion design optimisation. 

Independent Mode Licence

For those companies with a different CAD system, Pro/MECHANICA can still offer all the advantages of parametric optimisation, by using the Independent mode licence. Data can be imported via IGES or STEP, or models can be made from scratch in Pro/MECHANICA-FoundationTM. For expert users, Independent Mode can also offer more control over meshing, the ability to build meshes by hand, some different methods for creating and fixing geometry, and some extra functionality. Independent Mode is available free with the Advanced Package as an additional licence for all those who request it.
