Pro/MECHANICA® Thermal

The ProMechanica Thermal Simulation module is a powerful Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tool capable of determining the thermal behaviour of a component or structure and is part of the Pro/MECHANICA® suite.

Pro/MECHANICA Thermal  operates directly on the Pro/ENGINEER® model, thereby eliminating data transfer problems while delivering real parametric analysis with associative simulation features. In addition, Thermal Simulation Package can interface with other CAD systems.

Multi-disciplinary simulation capabilities additionally enable simultaneous structural, thermal, and motion design optimisation. Combined with the power of parametric optimisation, designers now have the ability to drive the form and fit of their design by its function.

Depending upon the package that you buy, you have the following

Pro/MECHANICA Thermal

Evaluate the temperature and heat performance of a design.

Quickly investigate the effect of design changes by running sensitivity studies.

Optimise designs.

Steady State and Transient Simulation (Transient only in Advanced package)

Full result plots and graphs.
