RAY ELLENDER PASSES PRINCE2® EXAM
PRINCE2 stands for PRojects IN Controlled Environments. It is a project management methodology that what originally developed for UK Government IT projects and is now used in various industries and across the world. To become a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner, one has to undertake a 5-day course, including undertaking a very searching examination at the end. In December 2008, Ray Ellender, the Managing Director of Elite Consulting undertook the course and passed the exam to become a Certified PRINCE2 Practitioner. Afterwards Ray Ellender said: “I am very pleased to have passed this tough examination. Although I have have a lot of experience of managing large projects and programmes, especially in the automotive industry, where I ran new car programmes, I had not used PRINCE2 before, and so it was new to me." “Although all project management methods are to some extent the same, PRINCE2 uses a particular approach, structure and terminology that was different to those that I am familiar with.” "Now I have passed this exam, I understand the PRINCE2 methodology and its strengths and weaknesses, which puts me in a good position to combine the best parts of PRINCE2 with other methodologies in order to help Elite Consulting to be even better at project management than it was before."
