Rod
Giles is appointed Technical Director of Elite Consulting Limited
On 1st January 2001, Rod Giles was
appointed the Technical Director of Elite Consulting Limited.
Rod has worked for Elite since 1997 as Principal
Analyst and has taken a lead role in the management of many engineering
analysis projects for clients in the automotive, aerospace and rail
industries. Rod has been involved in many automotive projects, having
worked for companies such as Rover and Lotus. During his time at Lotus he
carried out the structural analysis of the Lotus 'Superbike' that Chris
Boardman used to win Olympic Gold in 1992.
Since joining Elite Consulting, he has headed design
analysis projects in a wide variety of industries, and gained recognition
by NAFEMS as an Advanced Registered Analyst and PTC as a Certified
Engineering Provider.
