in the UK to be granted CEP status for Pro/Mechanica by PTC
A background in automotive engineering led Elite into working
on a number of significant project management assignments for leading motor
manufacturers.

Some history
Ray Ellender founded the company after he left Lotus,
where he was Chief Engineer - Body & Chassis Design and Programme
Manager for new car programmes for 5 years. The initial focus was
programme management and finite element analysis in the automotive
industry. For the FE analysis, we chose Pro/MECHANICA because of its
combination of ease of use, automatic convergence and optimisation
functionality; a choice that is still relevant today. We subsequently
also bought Pro/ENGINEER as our 3D CAD modelling software.
We also provide training & consultancy in Pro/ENGINEER &
Pro/MECHANICA, and in fact this part of our business is expanding, as we
write our own specialist course material for
some of the courses that are not available elsewhere.

Ray Ellender, who is a certified
PRINCE2® Practitioner, continues to provide
Project Management consultancy for
product development programmes and has extended this aspect of our
business to include consultancy to help companies improve their
New Product Development/New
Product Introduction (NPD/NPI) processes. This has lead more
recently into Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) consultancy, and the provision
of PD-Trak software.
